Baseline Climate Action Planning Survey for Review and Discussion

Hi Wanda,

I posted this link on our WhatsApp Group as well:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf5V6Rm1tLlZjQLC-4ubxvIvRYFVip4kfCveIEE6AmAob8WFQ/viewform?usp=sf_link

I shared you in with editing privileges so you can tailor it for your community. Please add any questions that will help you move forward on the community response to deforestation and increased vehicular traffic associated with the industrial park development. We have the capacity to survey. Let's use it for what the community needs while we meet our deliverables.

The goals of the survey are:

  • to capture community priorities specific to our ACCC Climate Action Planning process
  • to determine the priorities we will research in advance, and discuss at Roundtable 1
  • to capture contact information on people who are interested in Work Group participation
  • to use the capacity we have to survey through this grant to add 2 or 3 questins that specifically wil help move important issues in the community forward (ie question sin Mercy Drive specifically related to deforestation and increased vehicular traffic associated with the industrial park development)

Today I'm working on the Climate and Health Handout and PowerPoint slides about the results from the FL DRI survey and basics about the Bloomberg Climate Action Planning schedule and process. I will share those as soon as I get them together.

Hi Jan,

This looks good. The only thing I would add would be increased hurricane frequency in the section where it mentions flooding and severe storms and air quality. We can have them write that in on the survey tonight.
