Hi Wanda,
I understand your concern about not losing people, and keeping things moving. These materials link disaster preparedness and reponse to climate change, and let everyone understand why we are trying to reduce greenhouse gases.
It may make sense to just modify the Fact Sheets to have Orlando information, and just talk through the Fact Sheets they can take home and/or share with neighbors. OR some combo of things.
How do you feel about leading a flip chart brainstorming session about all things that could go into a Climate Action Plan? Do you have ideas about the interactive piece of the Agenda that lets us hear what the community wants to have in the plan?
Here are the templates for handouts on Health and Climate in Word from the www.ReACTToolKit.net website. We would just need to substitute the information for Orlando. This was work on an EPA Environmental Justice grant to our Green Sanctuary Committee at UU Fellowship of Boca Raton.Jan

I think including a question or two on the survey that we give them would be a good way to capture their thoughts.
