The Manatee School District will continue to provide meals daily through the district’s Summer BreakSpot program.
Manatee’s policy requires children to be present to receive meals, and the food is free for anyone 18 or younger, regardless of income status or enrollment in Manatee Schools. The sites are available for walkup or drive-thru.
Distribution will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, Monday through Thursday at the following schools: Abel, Ballard, Bashaw, Blackburn, Daughtrey, Kinnan, Manatee, Miller, Myakka, Oneco, Palm View, Palmetto, Prine, Samoset, Sea Breeze, Tara and Tillman elementary schools; Buffalo Creek, Haile and King middle schools, along with Lincoln Memorial Academy; Bayshore, Lakewood Ranch and Palmetto high schools.
The district is also distributing food in five mobile feeding vehicles at locations in Bradenton and Palmetto.
