Welcome to the Group!!

Welcome to this work group that has been established to facilitate communications about the design of the Sarasota and Manatee County Dashboard, and the varous attachments to that Dashboard, such as Google Forms and maps. If you would like to be removed from the work group, just resply to this email with a request to be removed from the group.

The following people are the current members of this Work Group:

RAC Resilience System Administrators: Dr. Michael McDonald, Jan Booher and Kathy Gilbeaux

Sarasota Community Members: Valerie Buchard, Nina Tortelli, Barbara Solomon, Arlene Sweeting, Dr. Merritt and mhigtkpr

My questions are:

Who would like to speak with SRQ Safe Keepers to determine who might represent them to this group?

Who would like to speak with Mary Mack about joining this group?

Please take a look at the Dashboard, that has been updated in response to dialogue on the Tuesday call and subsequent emails. I would like to schedule a Zoom call for us to go over the Dashboard and get feedback from you all that helps me understand the way you would like to use the Dashboard, so it is set up to facilitate your work.

I did the following:

  • Changed the name of the Dashboard to Sarasota and Manatee County Dashboard
  • Inserted a button for the Florida Department of Health in Manatee County
  • Inserted a button for the Manatee County Social Services Department
  • Modified the WE HAVE/WE NEED Form and WE HAVE/WE NEED Masks forms to WE NEED/WE HAVE Forms
  • Inserted captions in the left margin to help people understand and navigate the page,
  • Elevated the WE NEED/WE HAVE Form to higher on the page and gave it a more prominent button
  • Updated the map that is attached to the page to include test centers that Arlene posted

Comments

Betsy Friedman and lavergne green should b safekeeper contacts.

Can you create a clear way to know "where there is care" or "find a dr, get tested" and link that takes people to list of health resources, clinics, labcorps telehealth group, dr rowes telemed group etc.
I know uf y hover over map it goes, but refresh memory if it goes thru MHI link or how that works. Redundant placement may be necessary for best dissemination of info.
Mary butler needs to b in this group, not sure how deep or technical mary mack would want to be but I ll try to reach her.
Need ms harvey from manatee, will try to reach her or a rep for her.
I'm available today.
Will need anna e gayle center and palmetto youth center reps n contacts for safekeeper repair n info distribution eventually

We have bilingual outreach to 2,500 households in Bay County launching with the training on Monday, so I have to pivot to that work later today, but would like to put more information flow structures in place in Sarasota/ Manatee this weekend and update the forms and Dashboard to incorporate the excellent suggestions that have been posted.

I would suggest adding The following Manatee services to the map:

Turning Points, providing multiple services, 701 17th Avenue West, Bradenton, Fl. 34205.

Centerstone - Mental Health and Addiction Services- 371 6th Avenue West, Bradenton, Fl 34205
Tidewell - 3355 26th Street West, Bradenton, Fl
